Central Florida Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMPCFL) to host Inaugural Technology Symposium: Supply Chain Disruptors

On Friday, February 16, 2018 from 7:30am to NOON, at the Marshall Student Center (Ballroom A) on the University of South Florida Tampa Campus, current and future supply chain professionals are invited to a Technology Symposium that will feature experienced presenters on innovations and technology disruptors.

“We all can spend weeks and months digesting trade journals on these fast-changing topics, or invest in one morning to learn the latest, leading edge developments that will define the supply chain industry over the next five years,” shares symposium coordinator and volunteer, Jack Mendell, Technical Advisor and Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Saddle Creek Logistics Services. “We have been able to gather a team of presenters for the benefit of students and active industry professionals.”

The Technology Symposium will have two primary subject areas — Block chain: predictable realities of timelines and transformations, and Man Replaced by Machine: implications of automation. Speakers include professionals from Pennsylvania State University, Florida Polytechnic University, IBM, Adams Automation, Dematic and Saddle Creek Logistic Services.
